Ahmad has an LL.B from Ahmadu Bello University, an MBA from the University of Abuja, and an LLM from Rivers State University. He specialises in Construction and Real Estate, Projects Finance, and Energy & Environmental Law. He has advised on megaprojects such as EPC of major infrastructure projects, remediation of hydrocarbon-impacted sites, and clean-up of contaminated ‘Ogoniland’, among others. He is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK.

Representative Experience

• Advised on various shoreline remediation projects addressing the environmental, social, and economic challenges faced by communities impacted by oil pollution, with a primary focus on the Ogoniland region.
• Advised on the clean-up of the hydrocarbon impacted sites, restoration of artisanal refining sites and other polluted sites, including the clean-up of contaminated land under HYPREP remediation project.
