Leads the firm's Governance, Compliance & Policy and Disputes Resolution practices. Advises institutions navigating complex regulatory environments and multi-stakeholder disputes — with a focus on sustainable, principled outcomes.
Hassana is a Partner at Bowyard Partners, leading the firm's Governance, Compliance & Policy practice. She advises clients across public and private sectors on regulatory compliance, institutional governance, public procurement and dispute resolution — bringing both technical precision and strategic clarity to every engagement.
Her governance and compliance practice covers ethical governance frameworks, AML/CFT compliance advisory, ESG governance integration, public procurement compliance, corporate audits and regulatory engagement with government agencies. She advises both private sector clients subject to regulatory scrutiny and government institutions seeking to strengthen their internal governance structures.
Hassana also leads the firm's Disputes Resolution practice — representing clients in commercial arbitration, regulatory disputes and litigation. Her approach is characterised by a preference for early and decisive intervention, strategic clarity and a commitment to achieving outcomes that protect her clients' long-term interests, not just their short-term legal positions.
She is the lead partner for the firm's Responsible Business commitments — overseeing the firm's pro bono programme, professional development initiatives and community engagement activities. Hassana holds the view that a firm at the forefront of governance advisory must itself model the standards it recommends to its clients.
